Akpororo tenders apology to Kate Henshaw

A day after Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw called out Akpororo for mentioning her as the headliner and host of his forthcoming show tagged “Akpororo Vs Akpororo” without her consent, the comedian has tendered an unreserved apology via social media.

Akpororo’s apology is coming a day after the actress issued a 48 hour ultimatum saying she felt slighted that the comedian used her name to headline his show without informing her.

The comedian issued his unreserved apology via his Intagram account saying he will never take Kate for granted or even disrespect her.

“Good evening ma @k8henshaw Before anything else just want to say am very sorry ma for the misunderstanding, so sorry for not following up after our last conversation about my show (Akpororo vs Akpororo which is taking place at Eko Hotel and Suites July 8th) when you were out of the country the other day, I will never disrespect you or even take you for granted for any reason, I respect you so much ma, please pardon me ma. Thanks and GOD bless you ma.”

When Kate come across promotional materials for Akpororo’s show online, the actress took to her Instagram page saying; “There is a thing called RESPECT in this industry. The sooner people recognise this the better it will be for all. Do not take my smile and simplicity for stupidity”.
