AMCON names Fagbemi as new Aero MD

The Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) on Saturday appointed Mr. Tunde Fagbemi as the new Managing Director of Aero Contractors.
His appointment followed the dissolution of the airline’s board on Friday.
In a statement signed by AMCON, the debt undertaker said the new management team will provide the highest level of professional competence which would ensure a quick repositioning of the company.

AMCON further maintained that it changed the management of the airline to protect the brand heritage of the airline, a very well cherished value.
Fagbemi has over 35 years’ experience in aviation. He was the Managing Director of Maevis Aviation Services Limited, one of the biggest concessionaires of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
