Amosun plays God, predicts another APC Gov in 2019
In what may amount to playing God, Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has said he will hand over to another governor of the state, who will emerge from the All Progressives Congress, at the end of his second term in office, in 2019.
He said this shortly after his inauguration for the second term in office on Friday at the M.K.O. Abiola International Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
He added that there was still more work ahead, but promised that his administration would complete the ongoing projects and embark on new ones that would endear the APC to the people of the state.
He said, “We will continue to work as a team to deliver projects that have direct bearing on the lives of the people. I hope by the time I will be leaving in 2019, I will handover to another governorship candidate of the APC.”
