Amosun’s loyalists to contest with APM tickets

Published

on

Barring any last minute changes, loyalists of Governor Ibikunle Amosun in the Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will defect to the Allied People’s Movement (APM) to contest the 2019 general elections.

The formal declaration will take place this week in Abeokuta, the state capital, New Telegraph reliably gathered yesterday.

“We are moving en masse into APM. Plans have reached an advanced stage for that.

The APC national leadership, led by Adams Oshiomhole, has not been fair to us; we need to resist the injustice meted to us in APC,” a local government chairman familiar with the defection moves told our correspondent.
