Bauchi governor attends Jumma’at prayers after recovery from Covid-19

Few hours after he was discharged following his recovery from Covid-19, Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, on Friday, attended Jumma’at prayers at Bauchi Central Mosque.

The prayer is the first public outing since the governor contracted the disease.

The governor who was wearing hand gloves and face maskswas in the company of the Deputy Governor, Baba Tela, Commissioners and other dignitaries as well as thousands of worshipers.

Governor Mohammed was discharged on Thursday evening after he tested negative for coronavirus twice consecutively, the State Commissioner for Health, Dr Aliyu Muhammed Maigoro confirmed.
