Beggar seeks justice from court over co-beggar’s assault, theft
A beggar, Binta Umar has sought justice from a Sharia Court ll on Tuesday at Magajin Gari, Kaduna over the alleged stealing of her charity money and assault by a fellow co-beggar, Hajara Kano.
Binta Umar who alleged that she was hit and thrown into the gutter after confronting Kano about the matter pleaded with the court to grant her justice and penalise Kano for what she did.

However, the defendant did not appear in court to answer to the charges.
The Judge, Musa Sa’ad- Goma, ordered the immediate arrest of the defendant stating that the defendant had disregarded the court by not appearing which contravened Section 300 of Criminal Penal Code.
The case was adjourned until March 19.
