BENUE: David Mark’s daughter defeats uncle to secure Reps seat under APGA

Lady Blessing Onuh, daughter of David Mark, former senate President has won Otukpo/Ohimini House of Representative seat.

Onuh who is a candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) defeated her uncle, Egli Johnson Ahubi who is presently the deputy speaker in Benue State House of Assembly and member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Ahubi who is the former senate president’s cousin congratulated the winner after losing to Onuh with a wide margin.

Meanwhile, Blessing Onuh who used to be a member of PDP left the party just two weeks after a controversial defeat for the APGA ticket for Otukpo/ohimini Federal Constituency.

Amidst reactions, PDP Chieftains claimed that Onuh’s victory and accomplishment was based on her father’s influence adding that she was never a member of the party from the onset.
