Once again, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the just concluded Benue South Senatorial re-run election, Mr Daniel Onjeh is still unsatisfied with the conduct of the election, and has vowed to challenge the victory of Senator David Mark at the Tribunal

The re-run election as ordered by the Appeal Court was held on Saturday and INEC declared Sen. Mark who has been in the upper chambers since 1999 as winner of the exercise.

But Onjeh said in an interview that he will approach the Tribunal to challenge the outcome of the election, and seek
the nullification of the exercise on the grounds of over voting and ballot box stuffing.

He is also raising issues over about 21,000 votes that were cancelled.

He cited the case in Kogi State where the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the governorship election inconclusive on the grounds that the number of cancelled votes far exceeded the margin with which one party was leading.

He also alleged that voters were induced with 1,000 Naira per vote cast in Ado Local Government, thereby compromising the integrity of the poll.
