Boko Haram terrorists lose 37 to Nigerian troops

The stubborn terrorists group, Boko Haram, which has continued to wreck havoc lost 37 of its members to the Nigerian Army on Saturday.

According to Army spokesman, Col. Sani Usman, troops of 27 Task Force Brigade, Nigerian Army killed 37 terrorists in Borno south during a clearance operation tagged “Operation Karya Gwuiwa.”

The troops also apprehended one Boko Haram terrorist, Musa Jubril, one female suspected to be a sex slave in captivity of the terrorists and recovered eight motorcycles, stored raw foodstuffs and beddings.

Usman added, “Unfortunately, a vigilante group member lost his life, while six soldiers were wounded during the clearance operation. “The corpse of the late vigilante and the wounded soldiers have been evacuated.

“The troops have continued with the clearance operation and also maintaining blocking positions to further neutralise and destroy any fleeing Boko Haram terrorists”.
