Buhari challenges wife to show evidence of claims cabal has taken over his govt

President Muhammadu Buhari has challenged hi wife, Aisha, and others who allege that there is a cabal controlling his government, to show evidence of such.

Aisha had on more than one occasion alleges that a few people were running her husband’s government, and determining what happens.

She had once stated that those her husband gave certain appointments were alien to her and those who supported him to win the elections.

But the president had responded that she belonged in the ‘kitchen and the other room’.

The First Lady has also recently stated that two men were the ones in charge of the government, and that they were the ones frustrating her husband from delivering the dividends of democracy to Nigerians.

But President Buhari during an interview with the Voice of America, Hausa, challenged his wife and others claiming the existence of such a cabal to show evidence.

He was asked, “Have you heard of the word cabal? People have been alleging that there are some few people in charge of this administration, that you are not the one in charge. Even your wife said something about this recently, what do you have to say about this?”.

Responding, Buhari said “That’s her business. This shows I am a real democrat. What they are saying is different from what is happening. They should come out and say those things they feel was staged managed by the cabal. What the cabal force to me to do. They should mention just one thing.”
