Buhari withdraws Ahmed Ibeto as ministerial nominee

President Muhammadu Buhari has withdrawn the nomination of the immediate past Deputy Governor of Niger State, Alhaji Ahmed Musa Ibeto as a ministerial nominee.

Senate President, Bukola Saraki, made the announcement of Ibeto’s withdrawal while reading a letter from President Buhari on the floor of the Senate shortly before the resumption of the ongoing screening exercise.

The President however did not give any reason for the withdrawal.

With the new development, the number of nominees is now 36 from the initial 37.
