Council of State confirms IGP Idris (Photos)

How police pension director embezzled N24bn, acquired 22 houses

Mr Ibrahim Idris, was on Wednesday confirmed as substantive Inspector General of Police (IGP) at the Council of State meeting, presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Idris was recently appointed by the president in acting capacity to replace the former IGP, Soloman Arase who proceeded on retirement.
