Don’t sell all your produce, Lamido tells farmers

Published

on

Farmers in the country have been called upon by the Lamido of Adamawa, Dr. Muhammadu Mustapha, not to sell all their farm produce for the year.

The royal father, who made the call in his Sallah message, on Monday, urged farmers in Adamawa State and across the country to also go into dry season farming.

He said, “I understand this year’s farming’s season is good and farmers are likely to experience bumper harvest. But I want to urge them to be discreet and not to sell off everything and be left without food.

“At the same time, I want to urge the farmers to engage in dry season farming so that there will be surplus food in the country.
