FG’s publicity of medical help to Ekwueme, ‘unnecessary, unprofessional propaganda’- Okupe
Former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe has criticized the presidency for announcing its medical treatment support to Alex Ekwueme, former vice-president of the country.
Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, had in a statement Friday revealed
that Buhari had ordered immediate medical treatment assistance abroad for the former vice-president after receiving a brief on his medical condition.

Shehu had explained that the approval given by Buhari would cover the cost of chartering an air ambulance for the journey and the cost of his treatment.
But Okupe dismissed the publicity as mere “propaganda”, saying it was unnecessary.
Writing via his twitter handle, he said, “The press release on the evacuation of chief Ekwueme by FG is unnecessary, indecorus & unprofessional. there are limits 2 propaganda”.

FG has all the right to justify why it’s helping Ekwueme, this will give curios Nigerians full knowledge regarding how some funds are spent and why some people got ‘special treatment’ from the Buhari-led federal government

Exactly, you’re very right! It is this same guy calling it unnecessary, unprofessional propaganda that will question the federal government if it was not publicized
