HERDSMEN ATTACKS: Buhari approves N10bn to rehabilitate Benue communities

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved N10 billion for the rehabilitation of communities destroyed during recent herdsmen-related attacks in Benue State.

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo disclosed this on Tuesday during his visit to two Internally Displaced Persons camps in the state.

Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Vice-President, Laolu Akande, told journalists of the development. “President Buhari approves a total of N10bn for the rehabilitation of communities affected by violent attacks in parts of the country.

“Vice President Osinbajo made the disclosure today (Tuesday) during his visits to two IDP camps in Benue State,” Akande said.
