In from Nifemi Daniel …
Liverpool forward Jordon Ibe has finally dumped Nigeria for England as he has pledged his international future to England’s Three Lions, according to Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh.
Oliseh, who recently held discussions with the youngster in England over the possibility of playing for the Super Eagles, confirmed the player has chosen the country of his birth, England, rather than his father’s country.
Ibeh has a Nigerian father and an English mother, and Oliseh, on Sunday on Twitter, posted: “Jordon Ibe’s family informed me by a telephone call, that he was giving priority to an England call-up. We wish them well.”

This comes just after England boss Roy Hodgson revealed he has his eyes on the England U-21 international, but insisted the forward has to earn his place in his team and he will not rush to cap at full international so as to keep him out of reach of other countries who may be interested in having him.
