Atiku counsels Buhari, APC on how to campaign

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has regretted being part of the group that formed the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

He said had he known that the APC would be such a “colossal failure and disgrace”, he would never had joined the party.

Atiku expressed his regret to have ever been a member of the APC when he spoke at a town hall meeting with residents of Jimeta, Yola, Adamawa State.

He said it was necessary for him to apologise, having been part of those who gave Nigeria APC, a party according to him, that caused Nigerians unprecedented hardship and never kept any of its promises to the citizens.

“I regretted being a part of the party which never deemed it fit to fulfil all of the promises it made to Nigerians .

“If I had known that the APC would be such a colossal failure and disgrace, I would never had joined the party.

“The APC has failed to fulfill even one of the promises it made to Nigerians. The APC is simply an assembly meant to defraud Nigerians,” he said.

He told the people to note that Nigeria may never survive another four years should the APC continue in power beyond 2019.
