Kaduna discovers N24bn in 423 accounts
The Kaduna State government has said that as a result of a verification exercise following its decision to adopt a single account, it has recovered about N24 billion from 423 different bank accounts in the State.
Bala Barnabas Bantex, deputy governor of the state who disclosed this yesterday during a town hall meeting in Southern Kaduna, said the 423 accounts were operated by the previous administration.
According to him, the adoption of a single account by the state government brought about the recovery of the funds.

Bantex who shed light on government’s plans for the state, said government will revive taxi scheme services in the urban centres, and that 200 branded air condition cars would be distributed to youths across the state.

what do they mean by discover. The money belongs to the kaduna state government. Did it get missing before?

in what 423 accounts was this money discovered before now was the money stolen why is it now discovered all of a sudden
