Keyamo lands another appointment from Buhari

Lawyer and human rights activist, Festus Keyamo has been nominated by President Muhammadu Buhari into the board of a federal parastatal.

Buhari names Keyamo and six others as members of the board of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC).

He is to represent Delta State on the board.

His name is contained in an executive communication sent to the upper chamber by the president, and read on the floor on Tuesday, by Senate President Bukola Saraki.

Keyamo had only recently attracted a deluge of criticisms when he was named by Minister of Transport, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, as spokesman for the Buhari Campaign Organisation.
