Lawyer and lawmaker, Patrick Obahiagbon has harped on the need to lift Nigeria out of its “marshmallow of centrifugal excrescences” which seems to be weighing the nation down.

In his goodwill message to mark Nigeria’s Independence celebrations, Obahiagbon popularly known as ‘Igodomigodo’ described the nation’s anniversary as “59th autarky.”

The lawmaker who was elected into the House of Representatives in 2007, also warned of the grave dangers therein, if the country does not heal from its present predicament.

He said; “As we celebrate Nigeria’s autarky at 59,we must reflect on the urgent need to pull Nigeria out of its marshmallow of centrifugal excrescences that currently weighs against our centripetal agglutinants (sic, agglutinant).

“The Sisyphean challenge to the pax nigeriana of our dreams, more than anything else, still remains our maladorous (sic, malodorous), putrescent, frankeinstous and opprobrious drift into a cocoon of ethnocentric chauvinism and syphilitic parapoism.

“Until we extirpate the hereinbefore mentioned gorgon medusa, all efforts at nation building amounts to vacuous sciamachy”.
