Meet Q.bo 1, a bot that provides companionship like no other

If you are a parent that seeks a bot that works in a programming language that helps kids interact and learn robotics at a much easier pace, then your search is over with the launch of Q.bo- a product of Thecorpora, headquartered in Spain.

The bot which is built with open hardware and software platforms, offers kids the opportunity to learn about Robotics and discover new things with AI and Robotic Assistance.

The cute, expressive and fun interactive robot can also change the nature of human interaction with machines, by providing companionship like no other machine has done before.

According to Thecorpora, makers of the robot; the “team has also worked to enable Scratch to be implemented as a tool to program Q.bo One. Scratch is one of the easiest platform to learn actual programming today. All in, children can learn tangible skills in robotics that can serve them well into the future.”

Its main board is powered by Raspberry Pi 3 working with an Arduino Board as the controlling board for sensors like Eyes (cameras), Ear (microphones), Feel (touch sensors) and Mouth (LEDS).

Q.bo One comes with its own operating system that runs on Raspbian. It can also work with AI systems such as IBM Watson, among others.

Pure rubbish, this is why many kids will never stop acting like robots. Intelligence is natural and different from robotics. What kids will learn from this is pure robotics and a little bit of tech.

Learning made easier, better than the old methods of learning. Kudos to Thecorpora for bringing this to reality, most tech companies don’t focus on things that will enhance kids brains

Is this not madness? The bot can also change the nature of human interaction with machine, that means the users relationship with machine will become better and more effective. Humans don’t need relationship with machine for any reason, if machine enhances relationship of humans with fellow human beings, its more reasonable. What relationship is human looking for in machine that human being cannot do better?

Don’t mind their stupid invention, it’s meant for them and not us. Very soon if care is not taken, they will create machines that will be having sex with human being all in the name of technology

This will only worsen the brains of children and not in any way improve it. How many students use his or her brain to do home work again except for the use of internet.

Must we use our brains when we have devices that can help us do tasks on our behalf? It’s not necessary.

You have no brain at all, you must be a machine
