Omokri taunts Soyinka, alleges nemesis catching up with him
Former spokesman of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, on Monday carpeted Prof. Sole Soyinka, alleging that nemesis is catching up with him.
Omokri’s assertion comes as he pitched his tent with President Muhammad Buhari who called Soyinka a ‘blackmailer’, over the Nobel Laureate’s statement on his administration’s arrest of Omoyele Sowore.
Ripples Nigeria had reported how the president’s spokesperson, Garba Shehu, had described Soyinka and others who condemned Sowore’s arrest as blackmailers.

Omokri lashed out at Soyinka recounting how he insulted former President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife Patience Jonathan on numerous occassions.
The former Presidential spokesperson reminded Soyinka of calling Jonathan ‘Nebuchadnezzar’ and also referring to his wife a ‘hippopotamus’.
His words : FUNNY but TRUE. Former President Jonathan NEVER once INSULTED Wole Soyinka. Yet Prof Wole Soyinka insulted him and his wife on MULTIPLE occasions. Soyinka called Jonathan NEBUCHADNEZZAR, and called Patience Jonathan a HIPPOPOTAMUS. Believe it or not, after that incident, Jonathan PRAISED Soyinka despite the insult. Wole Soyinka PRAISED Buhari on MULTIPLE occasions.
Yet, today, General Buhari is insulting Soyinka as a BLACKMAILER. Sometimes, you create your own MONSTER. I look at people coming to my profile to vent on behalf of Prof. Soyinka and it is obvious they are not conscious of the spiritual laws of SOWING and REAPING. As for the Wole Soyinka, how do you explain SEED time and HARVEST time to a man who does not even believe in God? If you want to know what Soyinka is turn your Bible to Psalm 14:1”
