In what looked like a palace coup, governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State yesterday, sent packing from his cabinet, four commissioners over undisclosed reasons.

This followed weeks of speculations in that regards.

Those affected by the shakeup according to information available to The Authority include, Mr Nick Wende of Water Resources and Environment, Ode Ageh, Information and Orientation, Sekave Iortyom ,Culture and Tourism as well as Mrs Mwuse Myim of Women Affairs and Social Development

The AUTHORITY gathered that though the reasons for their sack remained sketchy, inside sources hinted that the affected Commissioners may have been relieved of their duties owing to certain administrative lapses.
