The probe of former public office holders by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is fast spreading as the commission, on Wednesday, interrogated a former Head of Service (HoS) of the Federation, Mr. Stephen Oronsaye, in relation to the ongoing investigation into the alleged multi billion naira pension scam in the country.

The former HoS honoured an invitation by the commission when he appeared at its headquarters in Abuja and did not leave till evening.

“He was not picked up; he was invited and he came on his own. He came very early; I cannot be specific but it was as early as 9.am. The commission invited him because he was the Head of Service of the Federation when the pension scam occured,” an operative of the EFCC revealed.

The Head of Media and Publicity of the EFCC, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, also confirmed the interrogation of Orosanye. “Yes he is with us; I can confirm to you that the former Head of Service is with us,” he said.

I miss my civil service day and working with this man. I am overly certain that he knows nothing of this scam and that he was surely just invited to help them get more details into pensions
