Presidency not worried over Obasanjo’s position on 2019 –Source

The Presidency may not be entertaining any fear over former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s recent statement in which he kicked against the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019, Saturday PUNCH has learnt.

A Presidency source told PUNCH correspondent on the condition of anonymity on Friday that Obasanjo’s position was not giving anybody in the government sleepless night.

He said events of the last few days also showed that many people were not taking the former President seriously.

The source added that further clarification made by Obasanjo on his statement on Thursday showed that his own administration could also not be absolved of blames as regards the problems facing the country.
