Again, Gov Wike raises the alarm, says IGP Idris wants to raid his Abuja house

Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has again raised the alarm over alleged conspiracy by his political enemies to bomb his plane.

The governor however said that the alleged evil plot will fail, because no enemy, can destroy whom God had lifted.

Wike stated this on Thursday in Port Harcourt at an end of year party by his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, adding that the latest plot was part of desperation on the part of his detractors to eliminate him.

The governor went further to say that his political opponents have been unhappy with the successes he has so far achieved as the state governor, vowing he will never stop delivering dividends of democracy to the people of Rivers State.

Wike had not too long ago, also alleged that some security agencies in his state are threatening to assassinate him over the December 10 rerun elections in the state.

“For me, they are threatening that I will be the first governor they will assassinate. They are threatening that they will show me that they are security agencies. But, I will always protect the interest of Rivers State, no matter the threat,” he declared.
