Wole Soyinka should quickly tear his green card –Femi Kuti

Ever since Republican flagbearer Donald Trump emerged President-elect of the United States of America, Nigerians have been calling on Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka to stick to the dictates of his declaration and tear his green card without delay.

However, Professor Soyinka reportedly shifted the date of performing his vow on the day the President-elect would be sworn in as American President but afrobeat Femi Kuti has told Soyinka to keep to his words by doing the needful.

In a recent interview, Femi when asked about Soyinka’s ‘Green Card tearing ceremony’ said: “He should quickly tear it.

Continuing, Femi even wondered why Soyinka has a green card after all; “My question is why does he have a green card in the first place? Africa is so beautiful, look at our landscape; there is so much to see in Africa.” He added.
