An investigation into the outbreak is underway but an eyewitness say the fire was caused by an electrical fault which sparked the fire that swept through the hospital building in minutes.

We could hear the women screaming,” the witness said.
The blaze badly damaged the interior of the building charring walls and leaving wreckage dangling from the ceiling.

Twenty-one civil defence teams helped extinguish the fire, according to Saudi Authorities.
