Barcelona deserved to win La Liga- Zidane
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has conceded Barcelona are the worthy winners of the La Liga title after his side lost out on the championship by one point.
A run of 12 consecutive wins for Real saw them close a gap of 10 points on Barcelona at the top of the Spanish premier division but Luis Enrique’s side claimed the trophy after a win on the final day of the season, beating Granada 3-0.
Barcelona and Real Madrid are the two top scoring sides in Europe’s top five leagues this season.

Real could have won La Liga had Barcelona slipped up in that game, thanks to their 2-0 win at Deportivo, but the Catalans secured the trophy after their own impressive victory.
And Zidane, who won 17 of his 20 league games in charge of Real this season, has admitted Barcelona deserved to win the competition after being the better side over the 38 matches.
Speaking to BBC Sport the French coach said: “We’re all disappointed, but with 38 matchdays played, we can’t change anything now.
“Barcelona deserved to win La Liga.”
Zidane and his players must now brush themselves off and prepare for the Champions League final in two weeks, which will be contested against local rivals Atletico Madrid.
