Battered by an alleged N3bn contract scam, Oyo-Ita missing as Presidential retreat begins
The Head of Service of the Federation, Winifred Oyo-Ita, was visibly absent during the opening ceremony of the 2019 Presidential Retreat for the incoming ministers.
Oya-Ita is currently battling to free herself from an alleged contract scam involving N3 billion. She was last week Tuesday, interrogated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over the alleged fraud.
She had been penned down as one of the resource persons and top government officials to preside at the event.
However, she was nowhere to be found when the two-day retreat started on Monday.

Meanwhile, the retreat programme showed that Oyo-Ita was slated to speak on ‘Consolidating Ongoing Reforms in the Public Service’ by 11.10am on Tuesday.
Emerging reports say she has formally sought medical leave from President Muhammadu Buhari.
