Buhari in closed-door meeting with 36 governors in Aso Rock

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday met with governors of the 36 states behind closed doors at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting is believed to be in connection with the worsening insecurity in the country.

Recall that the governors during a recent meeting after Boko Haram slaughtered about 43 farmers in Borno State, had resolved to meet with President Buhari on the need to address security challenges across the country.

The meeting was still ongoing as at the time this report was filed.
