The home-based Super Eagles of Nigeria have been drawn to meet either Benin Republic or Togo in a two-legged qualifier for a spot at the 2018 Championship for African Nations (CHAN) which will hold in Kenya.

This is according to the official Twitter handle of the Super Eagles, which tweeted thus:

The 2018 CHAN in Kenya will hold from 11 January to 2 February, 2018.

The most-recent edition of the competition in Rwanda in 2016, the home-based Eagles failed to advance from the group stage, finishing third in their group behind Tunisia and Guinea who advanced into the quarterfinals.

And though the competition began in 2009 in Ivory Coast, Nigeria debuted in 2014 in South Africa where they finished third.
