Christian Chukwu suspended by LMC over Rangers, Imama row

The League Management Company have suspended Enugu Rangers’ General Manager, Christian Chukwu, from all Nigerian League activities.

The body announced this on its Facebook page on Friday, charging the club with misconduct over disputes with former coach Imama Amapakabo.

Amapakabo, who coached the club to their first league title in 32 years last season, was allegedly arrested by the police on the orders of the club management after he allegedly took off with his official car even after he had been sacked.

But Amapakabo have claimed that the car was held in lieu of entitlements owed him by the club.
