Again! Defiant North Korea launches multiple missiles
The government of North Korea led by headstrong leader Kim Jong Un continued to flex its muscles in its usual manner by launching multiple missiles off its east coast on Thursday.
According to South Korea’s Office of Joint Chiefs of Staff in a statement, the missile which was launched Thursday morning from the North Korean coastal city of Wonsan, flew about 200km.
“North Korea fired multiple unidentified projectiles, assumed to be surface-to-ship missiles, this morning from the vicinity of Wonsan, Gangwon province,” the South’s military said.

The Japanese government also confirmed the missile launche via Kyodo news agency.
“We have not confirmed any immediate effect to our nation’s security, at this point. We will continue to coordinate with the United States and South Korea to gather and analyse information, and maintain a high level of alert,” said Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida.
