Don Jazzy, Dele Odufuye offer free WiFi in public places with Flobyte launch

Internet surfers in Lagos are in for a real deal after Supreme Mavin Dynasty (SMD) CEO, Don Jazzy and Dele Odufuye CEO of Tsaboin jointly launched Flobyt WiFi as co-founders.

The launch of Flobyt WiFi which seeks to offer free WiFi service installed across partner locations in Lagos like eateries, parks, taxis, buses, restaurants, cafés and many other businesses is seen as a welcome development by internet users.

An excited Don Jazzy enthused at the launch of Flobyte saying he is largely confident with the unveiling while also noting that it is one of the few tech investments that he will be putting out in 2017.

According to the founders, the service is free for patrons of a business who wish to access the internet while in the premises of the patron locations.

The co-founders also revealed that the internet router itself is a plug-and-play device that does not require much technical know-how to operate while also noting that there is no charge to use Flobyt WiFi, as all it takes is to walk into a partner outlet, patronise them and use the internet without restrictions.

“Flobyt is 100% free for the users and our partner locations, all you have to do is walk in and log in. In fact, our working slogan is ‘Don’t use your data, use ours”, Dele Odufuye said.

Assuring Nigerians, especially Lagosians that the effort is going to be an enduring one, Odufuye said; “We know that this is not the first free WiFi proposition in Nigeria. However, we have state of the art technology, security and speed to make it an enduring one”.

Is this an empowerment program or what? Instead of them to partner with other other agencies to empower youths and not these frivolities.

Learn to appreciate and not to condemn. Do you know how much money it will cost them to provide the free Wi-Fi service as you know so many people can download and consume 1000mb per day. How many can do such?

If all our entertainers and other celebrities make this kind of steps on a monthly basis, we will have a comfortable Nigeria in no time.

We can actually stop complaining about the inefficiencies of the government and start making things work like they do abroad. Government cannot do everything.

One of the major reasons Don Jazzy-led Mavin Records is flourishing is the fact that they don’t joke with their Corporate social responsibility (CSR), the record label knows the importance of the masses to its business. If a business wants to keep surviving, it is very important to give back to the society from time to time, these are the people who consume your product, they will always stay loyal to your brand. Other entertainers need to learn from Don Jazzy
