Biafra: Witnesses refuse to testify against Kanu

There was drama on Tuesday at the Federal High Court in Abuja, when embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, refused to come out of the vehicle that brought him to court and also refusing to remove his handcuff.

Kanu, who was brought to court in handcuffs, had to be persuaded by his lead counsel, Chief Chuks Muoma, SAN, before agreeing to come down from the prison van that brought, but refused the officers from taking the handcuffs off.

Justice Tsoho haf scheduled had on January 29, denied bail to Kanu and two other pro-Biafra agitators, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi, who are facing trial with him.
