Swaziland coach Harries Bulunga has expressed confidence in the ability of his players to secure a win against Nigeria in the return leg of the Russia 2008 World Cup qualifying round billed for Tuesday in Port Harcourt.
The Swazi team recorded a huge result on Friday after caging three-time African champions Nigeria to a goalless draw in Lobambo.
Speaking at a post-match conference, Bulunga attributed the team’s heroic feat to determination stressing that his players over respected the Eagles.

“We were a bit scared of Nigeria at the start of the game but as the game wore on, we grew in confidence and that explained why we pushed out late in the game. Nigeria’s best chances were mostly from set pieces,” said Bulunga.
He however maintained that Swaziland, ranked 130th in the world, has what it takes to secure a win when both teams clash on Tuesday in Port Harcourt.
“We will now be hoping for a scored draw in Nigeria on Tuesday to advance in the competition, but honestly Nigeria have a 60-40 chance of beating us to the next round.”
