Eaglets, Argentina friendly shifted

The much anticipated friendly match between the Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets and their Argentine counterparts will now be played on Wednesday (in the evening) due to a rainstorm earlier predicted by weather reporters in Argentina on Tuesday.
According to reports, there was a drastic drop in the temperature of Bueno Aires, Tuesday morning, and it was said that there would be rainstorm later in the day.
Nevertheless, the time and venue for the match remain the same, 7:30pm Nigerian time, at the Argentina football Association Training Centre.

Eaglets coach, Emmanuel Amuneke, has however expressed his satisfaction with the camping site of his U-17 with the belief that it would help the players get used to the weather condition which is similar to Chile, venue of the World Cup.
“Gradually, the boys are getting used to the cold weather which they were not used to before now.
“Now, they have to forget about the sunny weather back home and I’m happy they are adjusting well. Though, it was initially difficult for some of them when we arrived on Friday.”
The Nigerian U-17 team will play host country Chile, Croatia and USA at the group stage of the U-17 FIFA World Cup this month.
