EDO APC CRISIS: Obaseki talks tough, vows to chase out dissidents

Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has approved the appointment of Osaze Ethan Uzamere as his Chief of Staff.

The Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie, who disclosed this in a statement on Saturday, said the appointment takes immediate effect.

Uzamere is the son of a senator representing Edo South Senatorial District from 2007 to 2011, Ehigie Uzamere.

Uzamere, who is an investment banker, replaced Taiwo Akerele who left the position earlier on Saturday.

The new CoS, 38, is a graduate of Stony Brook University, New York, United States, where he majored in Computer and Electrical Engineering.

He has had stints with Lehman Brothers and South Grade Engineering, among others.
