Govt finally arraigned ex-Gov Suswam in court

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Thursday questioned and detained former Benue State Governor, Gabriel Suswam.

The former governor was detained over his role in the sharing of the state’s portion of the N23 billion bribe which former petroleum minister, Alison-Madueke allegedly distributed to influence the outcome of the last presidential election.

Suswam, who is also facing another set of charges over alleged looting of public funds, arrived the premises of the EFCC around 10 am.
