Prospective talents who have been selected to be potential housemates following auditions in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt are about now gearing up for the opportunity to showcase their capabilities following selection.

It is no longer news that after 10 years, Nigeria’s own version of the Big Brother reality TV show is set to hit screens years after it first made its debut on air.

Listed below are 10 things you should know about ‘Big Brother Naija’ reality TV show (based on the Big Brother TV series) which promises 11 weeks of undiluted entertainment.

1. The show is now referred to as Big Brother Naija.

2. The program will run for 78 days.

3. This will be the second installment of the Big Brother franchise in Nigeria after 10 years.

4. There will be 12 housemates in total.

5. A variety of Nigerian personalities will visit the Big Brother Naijahouse during the show’s duration including musicians and performers. In addition, the show’s presenter will be a Nigerian.

6. The voice of ’Biggie’ will be Nigerian.

7. Same rules apply – but there will be no shower hour!

8. Winner of the Big Brother Naija takes it all! He or she will walk away with a whopping prize money of N25 million and a brand new KIA Sorento car.
