Super Eagles skipper Vincent Enyeama failed to attend Tuesday’s hearing with the Nigerian Football Federation Disciplinary Committee as team coach, Stephen Keshi, awaits the verdict of the body after appearing before the panel in Abuja.

Enyeama had been invited by the executive board of the NFF to a meeting scheduled for Tuesday to answer questions on his reaction to a query for making what the federation considered uncomplimentary remarks on the choice of Kaduna as venue for the Nations Cup qualifier between Nigeria and Chad.

Coach Stephen Keshi met with the disciplinary committee to answer questions on why his name appeared on a list of candidates to manage Ivory Coast.

The NFF executive board will have the final say on any punishments, on a date yet to be decided.

Keshi, who signed a new two-year deal with the NFF in April, was on a list of 59 applicants published recently by the Ivorian federation (FIF) to take over from Frenchman Herve Renard.
