In from Ahmed Boulor …

Soft singing sensation Sean Tizzle got on the wrong side of fans on twitter for suggesting that Omawumi’s version of Adele’s record breaking hit single ‘Hello’ is better than the original.

The MTN ambassador’s comment; “Why is that @Omawumi sings the best cover to “Hello” & it’s not a big deal but @Adele sings a weak version & gets over 230 million views?” he tweeted.

His comments elicited a barrage of responses from fans who were miffed by his submission.
“If Omawumi is that good, why didn’t she come up with her own idea, this is just absurd. No hate though.” A fan @nancychidmma tweeted.

“Sean Tizzle was wrong not to have acknowledged Adele as the owner, but that doesn’t mean Omawumi’s version can’t be a better version than that of Adele.” Another fan, @UNCLE_AJALA tweeted.

Not done with his comments especially after the barrage of replies on social media, Sean Tizzle had more to say.
“We really need to start supporting each other…see that’s our problem…We don’t see the bigger picture…always so quick 2 judge & react,” the Ondo state born singer added.

He continued, “Arabs stick together…Spanish stick together…Chinese stick together so much that they look alike. Africans…well let’s just say I’ll be right back.”
