So far Buhari has failed in his promises -Ex-Gov Shekarau

Former governor of Kano State Malam Ibrahim Shekarau has said so far, the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari remains a failure because of its inability to initiate and implement policies that can turn things around and make the life of ordinary Nigerians more meaningful.

The former Minister of Education during ex-President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration stated this during a chat with newsmen in Gombe State where he attended the closing ceremony of the Islamic Vacation Course (IVC).

“I think the assessment of the All Progressives Congress (APC) government is very obvious on the table. As a teacher, the best way to assess an individual is to assess him on the scheme of his work, on his own promises. If you say you will cover a scheme of work A to D in a given year, then I will assess you on that.

“The government has made a number of promises, particularly Mr. President himself and we have not seen things on the ground. There is hardly any concrete thing on the ground that you can see.”

He went further to ask President Buhari to cease from accusing the administrations before his as the reason for his shortcomings, adding that he must understand that he is expected by Nigerians to do the job he was elected for.

The problem with Nigerians is that we are impatience, taht’s why many fell in the hands of the useless MMM. We want magic, only a magician can transform Nigeria under one year, not human like buhari

you have said no meaningful thing. A responsible leader can transform Nigeria within 6 months if he is determined. Ambode has transformed Lagos within 1 year. so what are we saying?

All the politicians and technocrats that are not working under the current administration have all turned against the President. They were quiet in the days when he was selecting his aides, but now…they can talk!
