Bruno Fernandes was on target for Manchester United as they defeated Burnley 1-0 in the Premier League on Saturday night.

Fernandes’ stunning volley gave the Red Devils a much-needed victory as they had suffered a shaky start to the season, with three straight defeats in all competitions.

The goal gave United their third win from six league games this season, leaving Vincent Kompany’s side bottom of the table with only a point so far.

On Saturday, Burnley hunted for an equaliser in the second period and Sander Berge narrowly headed over as United held on for victory.
