Former Sultan of Sokoto, Dasuki, is dead

The former Sultan of Sokoto , Ibrahim Dasuki is dead. He died Monday night at the Turkish Hospital in F.C.T , Abuja.
The deposed Sultan died at the age of 92 after battling with a prolonged illness.
He was the 18th Sultan of Sokoto between the period of 1988 aNd 1996 when he was dethroned by the then military Head of State, Gen Sani Abacha.

He was born on December 31, 1923, and lived the later days of his live in Kaduna after his dethronement and banishment from Sokoto in 1996.

Ibrahim Dasuki is the father of Col. Sambo Dasuki, the embattled former National Security Adviser to the Federal government during former President Jonathan’s government.

He will be buried on Tuesday according to Islamic rites.

    So dasuki’s father was the dethroned sultan then. I didn’t know oooo. Am sure sambo dasuki inherited corrupt from his father.
