The police are now on the trail of an unidentified trader who allegedly slit the throat of her lover identified as Kingsley Pereowei, 38, in the Abukuru, Ajegunle area of Lagos State after she accused him of dating a woman in the community.

Reports say the trader who is now on the run committed the crime while Kingsley (her lover for over 13-years) was asleep, as she left him with two deadly cuts which sent him to his early grave before she fled into hiding.

According to Linda Pereowei, Kingsley’s sister who resides on Orodu Lane, Ajegunle, she got a call from one of her late brother’s neighbour about the incident and when she arrived the scene of the incident, she found the lifeless body of her brother .

She later arranged for his body to be deposited in a morgue.

“By the time I got there, my brother was dead. This is the 13th year that they have been dating each other. She cast a spell on my brother so that he would not be able to quit the relationship. No single child between them and they were not married.

“Sometime last year, she stabbed him in the head and eye. It took months before the wounds healed. She has achieved her aim. We are from Bayelsa State. Our father is late, but we still have an ageing mother. She has not been informed about his death. I want the police to ensure that she joins my brother in heaven. That is all I want.” She added.

SP Dolapo Badmos, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, informed that a postmortem would be carried out on the corpse of the victim to determine the actual cause of his death.

“The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba, for further investigation,” she added.

Ladies can go any lenght to keep a guy. Sometimes, one can hardly tell when they truly mean it when they say, I love you.

That is a woman for you. They are devils and we have to be careful with them as we can’t live without them as well.

Thirteen years relationship without marriage, with no child. This is unlike our tradition in Nigeria, the woman must have casted some spells on the man, when the spells stopped working, she decided to terminate his life, what a cruel world!

The woman is not responsible, she’s been dating a man for thirteen years, facing so many challenges and she couldn’t work their marriage? The man now cheated on her, she took knife. She deserves to die also

Where in the story confirmed that the guy cheated on the lady ? Let us be fair to ourselves. The lady is wicked and deserve dying as well. Even though the guy cheated, she has no right to terminate his life.
