Jonathan visits Buhari in Aso Rock

Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday visited President Muhammadu Buhari at his office in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Buhari and his predecessor immediately went into a closed-door meeting.

Jonathan arrived at the forecourt of the State House at 2.58 p.m. and went straight to Buhari’s office for the meeting.
The meeting was the first between the duo since Buhari was sworn in for a second term in office on May 29.

The details of the meeting have not been made public at the time of filing this report.
