President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived the National Assembly to present the N19.76trillion 2023 Appropriation bill before the National Assembly.

This is will be the last budget presentation by President Buhari, before he office in May next year.

This is will be the last budget presentation by President Buhari, before he leaves office in May next year.

Security around the National Assembly premises had earlier been beefed up in preparation for the president’s arrival, while access to visitors were restricted.

The complex has been undergoing renovation and lawmakers have used hearing rooms for plenary since they resumed from their recess.
Both chambers will carry on with their plenary sessions from 9:00 a.m. until about 10:00 a.m. and thereafter converge at the lower chamber to await the president’s arrival for the presentation.
