You lack knowledge of God’s purpose for Nigeria, Dogara tells Biafra agitators

House of Representatives Speaker, Yakubu Dogara, has said that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and other pro-Biafra agitators do not know God’s purpose for Nigeria.

This was as he said that God did no mistake bringing together different regions that make up Nigeria to be united as one country.

He therefore called on those agitating for the nation’s break up to know that Nigeria did not come into existence by mistake and that they lacked the understanding of God’s plan for the nation in their demands.

“Those who think Nigeria is a mistake, it may be because they don’t know the purpose. But if you want to know the purpose of a thing, you have to go back to the manual, and who put the manual together? It’s the manufacturer, so I would challenge them to go back to the manufacturer of Nigeria, who is God, so that we can get the manual for Nigeria.

“If we were a mistake, maybe during the first civil war, this country would have disintegrated but God decided to keep this country one and God has never made a mistake,” Dogara said.

A statement by Dogara’s Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Hassan Turaki, quoted him as saying this during a thanksgiving service on Sunday at his Elect Christian Assembly Church, Nyanya.

According to the Speaker, “until the destiny of this nation is realised, nothing will happen to Nigeria”.

Dogara, who said he was not unaware of the multifaceted challenges presently facing the country, however called on Nigerians to continue to offer prayers to God as with him all things are possible including current challenges in the country.

“’For our country, we will never cease to ask that prayers be made, especially collective prayers. We all know the benefits of collective prayers; it is said that whenever two or three of you come together and ask of anything, God will do it.

“’We know the challenges we face, they are quite enormous challenges, they are very difficult, but they are not insurmountable. With God on our side, we will surmount them, and the only way we can do that is when we have the benefit of the wisdom of God; wisdom means application of knowledge,” Dogara said.

Our religious belief is why these useless leaders are maltreating us in Nigeria. Is it God that says they should be embezzling public funds too? If Nigeria must grow, we have to break the Norms, put aside religion and face reality

Thank God you know this. Religion is the opium of the people. We just have to be real, for dogara, he is a child of a bastard, Biafra is ordained to happen too

Karl Marx has said it all that most African leaders will continue to fool their ruled using religion as covering. It’s high time we also start using traditional religion to swear in our leaders knowing that our gods act fast to strike a defaulting leader.

It would have been better if our politicians believe in God, how can you be preaching about God that you don’t believe in just to comfort the people?

Well joke apart and candidly, dogara got it wrong. Nigeria is not really a God’s creation but the white men selfish creation but as long they have fused us together, GOD has approved it to be an indivisible sovereign nation-state , so we have no option than to live as one
